Microsoft plans to release a new version of Windows every year

You can expect a new Operating System release by Microsoft in mid of 2013. Although it would be nice to know that users will get an operating system every year equipped with new features and at comparatively lower cost but still I do not think of it as a good idea. I mean that is not how Microsoft works. Every company has its own way of doing things; I believe Microsoft’s old way of gathering up a set of features, implementing them and then releasing a new operating systems after 2 or 3 years works fine. According to news, the old strategy would be replaced by new one. While I do not like this approach personally, I await for the response of critics on this matter.
